Funeral services for Nola Cook Counce were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. from the Okolona Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Ray and Lynn Fair officiating. Burial was in the East Chickasaw Memorial Gardens with the Okolona Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Counce, who was 70 year of age, died last Friday at her home on Route 2. She was the widow of J. D. Counce, who preceded her death six years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Donald Wood of Nashville, Tenn., one sister, Mrs. Joe DeMoville of Columbus; two brothers, Frank Cook of Memphis, Tenn., and J. B. Cook of West Point; and one granddaughter, Dr. Jill Wood of Nashville.
Her nephews served as pallbearers.
