Glenda Sue Blaylock, 56, of Crossville, passed away April 6, 2003. Funeral services were held April 9 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Thomas Springs Cemetery. Phil Jenkins officiated, with some of Mrs. Blaylock's favorite music, "Peace in the Valley," "Amazing Grace" and Vince Gill's "Go Rest High."
Mrs. Blaylock was born Oct. 28, 1946 in Crossville, the daughter of Arnold "Gene" Hassler and Pearl Webb Hassler.
She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of Steven's Gap Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, William Blaylock of Crossville; daughters, Tammie Maynard, Lisa Kerley and Tracy Lawson; mother, Pearl Webb Hassler; sister, Carolyn Lawson; brothers, Don Hassler, Thom Hassler and Dan Hassler; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold "Gene" Hassler.
Pallbearers were her nephews, Wayne Blaylock, Robby Hassler, Jared Hassler, Neil Misra, Ronnie Stone and Josh Lawson.
Glenda will be sadly missed by many.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
