Mrs. Schmerbauch, daughter of Marcus and Ella (Green) Sutton, was born on April 11, 1899 in Greenville, Missouri. She married her husband, Charles, on January 15, 1915.
Surviving are her husband, Charles, who remains in critical condition at St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, 15 children and 10 grandchildren. The children include: Charles Schmerbauch, Marcus Schmerbauch; Joseph Schmerbauch, Pauline Lewis, Ella Prendiville, Blanch Nix, Viola Schmieg, Daniel, Roy, Arthur, Erwin, Eugene (George), Jack, Dorothy, and Robert. She is also survived by her father, Marcus Sutton of Essex, Missouri; and brothers Albert of Oran, Missouri; Clarence of Matthews, Missouri; Bill, Roy and Pearl of Essex, and one sister, Irene Sutton of St. Louis. One brother, Frank, preceded her in death.
