Amelia Morast was born in Chicago, Illinois to John and Rosanne (Miller) Morast. She married at age 16 to George A. Kuebler on 24 January 1878 in Chicago, Illinois. Her daughter, Etta R. was born in July of 1879. The young family resided in Palatine, Cook County where George was a barber. Amelia and George were divorced shortly after the taking of the 1880 U.S. census. Amelia then married George's brother, Jacob Kuebler in Kansas City, Missouri and they lived in Keokuk, Iowa for a few years before moving back to Chicago. Jacob was a policeman. Daughter Etta R.'s name was changed to Maud I. Kuebler.
Amelia and Jacob had four children: Charles R., Frank E., Irene Viola, and Marve Lorraine Kuebler.
Following her husband's retirement, Amelia and Jacob moved to the Lake Wohlford area in Escondido township, California, where their son, Charles, had settled.
Funeral services were held at Alhiser Mortuary followed by cremation.
