Adell Tillman Akins, 86, died Saturday at Evans Memorial Hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Evans County.
Survivors include two sons, H. A. Akins, Brooklet and Jerry C. Akins, Claxton; three daughters, Pauline Shaney, Charlotte, NC, Joan Broadus, Columbus, and Wanda Blalock, Claxton; 32 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Elder Gilbert Cribbs and Elder W. Harold Burnsed officiating. Burial will follow in Ephesus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shane Blalock, Glen Akins, Tim Akins, Dan Akins, Larry Akins, Gary Akins, Salvadore Ferraro and Tony Shirley.
