Elmer Wright Dead, Age 72

Retired Farmer Died At His Home Last Evening Of Heart Attack

A sudden heart attack last evening took the life of Elmer Wright, 72, of 60 West Colfax St. Mr. Wright had just returned from touring farmland which he supervised, and had plannned to visit his wife, who has been a patient at Blair Hospital since suffering a stroke four months ago.

Mr. Wright died at his home. The body has been taken to the Campbell Mortuary, but services have not yet been arranged.

Resident of Washington County virtually all of his life, Mr. Wright operated a grain elevator at Kennard prior to his retirement.

He and his wife had a new home built several years ago just west of the Blair Congregational Church.

Surviving Mr. Wright are his wife; a niece, Mrs. Gordon Bryant, Jr. (Patricia) of Tekamah; four brothers, J. W. and A. E. (Pete) Wright, both of Blair, J. C. Wright of Swiss Home, Ore., and Sam Wright of Kennard; and three sisters, Mrs. Maude Jahnel of Blair, Mrs. Myrtle Nelsen of Blair and Mrs. Mabel Stewart of Omaha.
