Helen Wright Died At The Age Of 88
Helen Bess Wright of the Crowell Home in Blair, died at the age of 88 years. Mrs. Wright died at the Blair Hospital on Wednesday, February 15th.
Services were held on Saturday, February 15th. at the Methodist Church in Blair. Rev. Gordon Patterson officiated with burial in the Kennard Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.
She was married to James Wright who preceded her in death. Mrs. Wright was a School Teacher for many years. She was born at Ponca, Nebraska, on September 23, 1889*.
She is survived by one child, Mrs. Phyllis Bodenstedt of South Sioux City, Nebraska and one granddaughter, Mrs. Marilyn Rethwisch of Wayne, Nebraska and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Gallagher, Merle Haynes, Harry Paulsen, Harold Wilcox, Raymond Wright and Sam Wright.
*Her granddaughter, Marilyn Rethwisch, said she was born in 1888.
