Rites Saturday For Leland Ward
Funeral services were held Saturday for a former Kennard resident, Leland E. Ward, 62 years of age, of Omaha, who died Wednesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mildred Timblin, of Omaha.
Services were held at the Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha with interment following in the Kennard Cemetery.
Mr. Ward is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Foster of Omaha and Mrs. James Slinkard of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Glen Rosenbaum of Kennard and Mrs. Timblin of Omaha, and four grandsons.
Mr. Ward was born Oct. 9, 1899, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ward of Kennard. He moved to Omaha when he was a young man.
