Mrs. Ward is Buried Sunday
KENNARD WOMAN, 59, DIED LAST THURSDAY: RITES AT METHODIST CHURCH
Mrs. Carl H. Ward, 59, long a resident of Kennard, died last Thursday. The funeral, with the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair in charge of arrangements, was conducted at the Kennard Methodist Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. H. F. Beebe of Arlington officiated, and interment followed in Kennard Cemetery.
Jessie Mable Jones was born at Baraboo, Wis. Oct 15, 1888. She and Mr. Ward were married May 5, 1909. Mrs. Ward was a member of the Church of God and the Royal Neighborns Lodge.
Surviving are her husband, Carl, a son, Lewis ward of Kennard; two daughters, Mrs. Roma Alexander of Hasting and Mrs. Jane Wiese of Kennard; a sister, Miss Blanche Jones of Hastings; three grandchildren, two aunts, Mrs. Jessie Green and Mrs. Hattie Moody of Hastings.
