Thomas Blackburn married Mary Ann Millhorn on July 7, 1870 in Harrison County, Ohio, just before their move to Missouri as the Missouri census was taken in August of that year. Mary Ann was the daughter of James Millhorn and Margaret E. Chaney. Mary Ann died in Norborne Township on 12 May 1889 and was buried in McCroskie Baptist Cemetery in Trotter Township in that county. The gravestone of her husband, Thomas, indicates that he died in 1894. He was living in Lexington, Oklahoma at that time. Thomas was born on 25 Feb 1834.
