Floyd E. Gouse, 83, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Manor Care Health and Rehabilitation Services, Camp Hill.
Mr. Gouse was born in Summerdale, Pennsylvania on March 9, 1925, the son of the late Warren T. and Grace (Fry) Gouse.
He retired from Jones Motor Freight, and was formerly a farmer farming the area of Rossmoyne Manor and Allen Junior High School, and was formerly employed at the New Cumberland Army Depot.
Floyd is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marcella E. (Rothermel) Gouse; a son, Floyd Gouse of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Clyde Gouse of Mechanicsburg; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Walter; daughter, Sandra; and 3 brothers, Ben, John, and Earl.
Interment will be private at convenience of the family in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
