He was born January 30, 1914
in Trident, MT; lived most of
his life in Elyria and owned
and operated a farm in Eaton
Township. He graduated from
Elyria High School in 1932 and
was employed for 40 years at
Timms Spring Company in
Elyria, from which he retired.
He was a member of
Washington Avenue Christian
Church.
Survivors include his wife of
71 years, Dorothy E. (nee
Prentice); sons, James of
Waynesville, OH, Richard of
Tampa PL, Robert of
Lakewood; six grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his brother, Alvin and a sister,
MaryTulk.
Visitation will be from 12:30
to 1:30 P.M. Friday at Dicken
Funeral Home, 323 Middle
Avenue, Elyria.
A graveside service will
follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery,
Elyria with the Rev. Janet A.
Long officiating.
