Jessie was my grandmother. She was the eldest of five children born to George Washington Locke and Roxy Ann Parthany Huggins.
She married Walter R. Cornelius November 30, 1899 in Brown County, Texas. She was the mother of ten children; nine sons and one daughter. As a youngster in Zephyr, I spent a lot of time visiting Grandma Cornelius.
