Funeral for Willis A. Peavy, 77, of San Augustine will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Lou Dane officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine County.
Peavy died October 27, 2003, in San Augustine.
Born July 11, 1926, in San Augustine County, he was the son of Gordon Peavy and Emma Henry. He had been a construction supervisor for Deep East Texas Electric Coop and had served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Redland Masonic Lodge No.3.
Survivors include his wife, Claudine Peavy of San Augustine; daughters, Gayle Muckleroy of Nacogdoches and Debbie Clark of League City; sisters, Betty Peavy of Chireno and Ruby Kennemer of Kemah; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
