DAVE PRITCHARD RITES FRIDAY

David Samuel Pritchard passed away July 19th shortly after arriving at an Omaha Hospital early Monday morning. He had undergone an operation for cancer thirteen weeks ago.

He was born May 20, 1886 at Kennard to Isabella and Edward Pritchard and had made his home in that vicinity until twelve years ago when he moved to Omaha.

Services will be held at the Dworak Mortuary at 16th and Vinton at one o'clock Friday and at 3 o'clock at the Methodist church in Kennard. Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl and a son, David Jr. of Omaha. Six daughters by a previous marriage also survive. They are: Mrs. Karl Anderson (Edith) and Mrs. Louis Bailey (Darina) both of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Ray Smith (Beatrice) of Yakima, Washington; Mrs. Howard Eriksen (Maxine) of Omaha; Mrs. Walter Jensen, (Bernice) of Audubon, Iowa and Mrs. Keith Menking, (Lorraine) of Blair. A daughter, Jan, passed away in 1936. Other survivors are: two brothers, James Pritchard of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Wesley of Pueblo, Colorado and three sisters, Mrs. Art Leach (Amanda) of Logan, Iowa; Mrs. Charles Swihart (Mae) of Niobrara and Mrs. Thomas Herrick (Chelsea) of Petaluma, Calif
