Kennard Man, 85, Died At Blair Hospital

Robert L. Pettit, a native of Kennard and a resident there for the past several years, died at Memorial Community Hospital at Blair on Sunday, July 13th. He was 85 years of age.

Mr. Pettit was the founder and the operator of the Royal Dairy on west Maple Street in Omaha for many years. After retirement he moved to Kennard to make his home.

He is survived by three sisters, a brother and a number of nieces and nephews.

The sisters are Miss* Ida Lautrup, of Kennard; Mrs. Paul (Lillie) Noel, of Decatur; and Miss* Hertha Pettit of Benkelman, Nebraska. A brother, George Pettit, lives at Council Bluffs.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 16th at the Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha and interment was made in the Kennard Cemetery.
