Former Kennard Woman Succumbs
Services Will Be Held Friday For Mrs. Anna Overman, Age 68
Mrs. Anna L. Overman, 68 of 4936 North 52nd Street, Omaha, died in an Omaha hospital Tuesday. Resident of Omaha 46 years, she once lived in Kennard. She was Anna Hovendick before her marriage.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Glendale Mortuary in Omaha, interment following in Kennard Cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Overman had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary less than a year ago in conjunction with a similar observance by her brother, Herman Hovendick, and Mrs. Hovendick of Herman. The four had been married in a double ceremony.
Surviving Mrs. Overman are her husband, Charles; a daughter, Mrs. George A. Whitacre of Omaha; two sons, Walter and Jack Overman of Omaha; one grandchild, William F. Meehan, Jr., of Omaha; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Schiller and Mrs. T. A. Hansen of Omaha and Mrs. Sylvester Lockman of Arlington; and two brothers, Charles and Herman Hovendick of Herman.
