18 Mar., 1908 - The Pilot - Laura Nissen
The sad news of the death of Miss Laura Nissen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nissen of Kennard, reached here Thursday afternoon and was quite a shock to their many friends in Blair. She was ill but a short time, and it seemed unbelievable that one so young and strong, only a little past 16, should so readily succumb to the death angel. The funeral was held at the Methodist church on Monday, and was very largely attended. The grief and sympathy of many friends mingles with that of the bereaved family in their hour of deepest sorrow.
