Funeral services for Charles P. Nelson of 4813 Douglas St., former president of the Nebraska Bankers association and local investment broker, who died Wednesday, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church. The body will be taken to Kennard for burial.

Deaths In Omaha

Charles P. Nelson, 51, 4813 Douglas Street, investment broker, died Wednesday at an Omaha hospital after a prolonged illness.

Formerly a Long Pine (Neb.), banker, Mr. Nelson was once president of the Nebraska Bankers' Association and a member of the executive committee for three years. He was also a director of Nebraska Wesleyan University, a member of the Long Pine Lodge No. 136, A. F. & A.M., the Long Pine Branch No. 202 O.E.S., the Tangier Temple, the Shrine Chanters and Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

He leaves his widow, Maud E.; two daughters, Dorothy and Marjorie; two sisters, Mrs. Nels Nelsen and Mrs. C. M. Ward of Omaha, and four brothers, Chris H. of Kennard, Neb.; George H.; Ernest C. and William M., all of Omaha.

Services in charge of the Crosby Mortuary, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church, with Dr. Charles Bready and Rev. B. O. Lyle officiating. Burial will be in Kennard.

Pallbearers include L. W. MacDonald of Long Pine, A. E. Bucklin of Atkinson, Neb., A. G. DeLong, Robert Goethe, Dr. R. R. Ralston, and R. H. Hamilton.
