Mrs. Sarah Davis, wife of Mr. Walter Davis, of Lanes Creek township, died last Tuesday at about 10:30 p. m., from dropsy, after an illness of about three weeks. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Autrey, about 21 years old, and had been a consistent member of the Philadelphia Baptist church for some time. She was married to Mr. Davis about three years ago. She had a large number of friends and acquaintances who sorrow at her death, and among whom she stood well. She is survived by her husband, father and mother, and two brothers and six sisters. The brothers are Raymond and Henry Autry, and the sisters are Mrs. Bub Kelley, Mrs. G. C. Deese, and Miss Mattie, Addie, Eva and Pearline Autry.
