Ms. Howard Miller, 56, To Be Buried In Kennard
Mrs. Howard Miller passed away at the Blair Hospital Monday, January 29th following a long illness.
Helen Vancura was born to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vancura at Ord, Nebraska on January 10, 1906. On July 24, 1929 she was married to Howard Miller. They lived at Wauneta and Stratton, Nebraska until about eighteen years ago when they moved to Kennard.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son Ned of Blair and one granddaughter. Also three brothers, Joe Vancura of Big Springs, Nebraska, Wm. of Sterling, Colorado, Henry of Gering, Nebraska and a sister Mrs. Anton Kisela, of Stratton, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on February 2nd at the Emmaus Lutheran Church of Kennard. The Rev. Harold Laursen will officiate. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery. Campbell's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Brice Woodring, Jr., Jerry Uehling, Tim Engelke, Roy Rosenbaum, Leonard Brummer and Henry Lautrup.
