She died at the Kennard Hospital after a two-day illness.
She was survived by four sons and six daughters, one daughter (Francis) dying in infancy. The sons were Howard of Irwin, Iowa; Harold, Henry and Edward of Kennard, Nebraska; the daughters were Mrs. Luella Hansen, Irwin, Iowa; Mrs. Neal (Viola) Vreugdenhil of Blair, Nebraska; Leona, Ella, Bertha and Dorothy at home. Five grandchildren also survived her.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday with burial in the Kennard Cemetery.
