DOUGLAS T. LARSEN RITES WEDNESDAY

The little four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Larsen of Kennard died suddenly in the hospital while the nurses were preparing him for a tonsillectomy.

He was born February 18, 1946, in Fremont. His health had never been good, and he suffered severely from rheumatism. It was in an attempt to remove the cause of his trouble that the operation was planned. But the effort was too late and death came before the operation. It is thought that the heart was weakened by the rheumatic trouble.

He leaves to mourn him his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Larsen, one brother, Maynard Larsen, Jr., his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Larsen and his grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Taylor.

Funeral rites were held from the Kennard Lutheran church with Rev. P. L. Thorslev officiating, and interment under the supervision of the Bendorf Funeral Home was made in the Kennard cemetery.
