(Russian: Алексей Анатольевич Навальный; 4 June 1976 – 16 February 2024) Lawyer, anti-corruption activist, and political prisoner. He was the leader of the Russia of the Future party and founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation. He advocated reforms against corruption in Russia and against President Vladimir Putin and his government. Amnesty International recognized him as a prisoner of conscience, and he received the Sakharov Prize for his work on human rights.

Gravesite Details

Navalny's funeral service was held on Friday, March 1st at a Russian Orthodox Church in Moscow's Maryino district. The burial was held at the nearby Borisov Cemetery.
