Born July 13, 1907, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late William H. and Maude Loy Bietsch.
He was a life member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and was a member of its Loyalty Sunday School Class.
For about 50 years, he was owner/operator of Bietsch's Greenhouse on Lincoln Way East, retiring in 1976.
His wife, Florence Eaken Bietsch, died Sept. 8, 1968.
Surviving are two sisters, Estelle B. Waas of 427 Hopkins Lane, Haddonfield, N. J., and Jean L. of 347 E. Queen St.
Burial will be made in Norland Cemetery.
