Thos. C. Patrick, Esq., of Irwin, Pa., at one time a resident of this place, died at his residence in Irwin, Pa., on last Wednesday afternoon, aged about 45 years. Although he has been in bad health for a number of years, yet his indomitable energy and perseverance asserted itself and he was an active business man up to the time of his death. Deceased was raised in Clarion county and his remains will reach his mother's residence at Curllsville on this (Thursday) evening and be interred in the cemetery of the Presbyterian church at Churchville on Friday morning, the 14th inst. He leaves a wife and two children, also a mother, three sisters and five brothers to survive him. Deceased was a cousin of our townsman, J.H. Patrick. Source: Clarion Journal 5/13/1897
