He was a member of the High School basketball team and of the Kennard Methodist Sunday School and a member of the choir.
He leaves to mourn his death, his mother, one brother, his stepfather, and also his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. M. R. Weaver of Ashland, Nebraska, and C. W. Hansen of Omaha, besides a large circle of friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday of this week from the Methodist church at Kennard with Rev. A. W. Clarke officiating with interment in the Kennard cemetery.
The pallbearers were his classmates, Neil Rosenbaum, William Homer Ward, Jr., Donald Wulf, Donald Kuehl, Junior Nielsen and Gordon Reeh.
