DIES; RITES TO BE
SATURDAY

Mrs. Caroline Bell Olmstead, 89, widow of Hyrum M Olmstead, died this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. A.W. Child, in Roy. Mrs. Olmstead was a member of the LDS Church and worked in the Primary and Relief Society. She had also been a temple and genealogical worker. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had formerly been a practical nurse. She was born May 1, 1868, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Edward and Caroline Baker Bell. When she was a child the family moved to Hooper. She later lived in Riverdale and Roy. On May 12,1888, she was married to Mr. Olmstead. He died November 29,1918. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. A. W. (Emma) Child, Roy; 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the LDS Roy First Ward by Bishop Theodore Holtry. Friends may call the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 pm and Saturday until 10:15 a.m. Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
