Frank E. Ahrens
Graveside services for Frank Edward Ahrens, 87, 401 E. 16th St., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fort Scott National Cemetery conducted by the Rev. W. B. Wiggins.
The funeral party will leave the Konantz Funeral Home at 9:45 a.m. to go to the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to charities of personal choice.
Mr. Ahrens died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital.
He was born Jan. 1, 1896, at Fort Scott, the son of Charles Edward and Martha Elizabeth Miller Ahrens.
He served in the Army during World War I.
Mr. Ahrens was a pharmacist for many years at the Prichard-Blatchley Drug and Fort Scott Drug. he retired in 1968.
He married Lucille Heskitt, Dec. 31, 1934, at Fort Scott.
Mr. Ahrens was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of the home.
