Lenora E. Baker, 70, of Duncannon died Friday, May 30, 2003 at home.

She was born March 18, 1933 at Newport to the late Raymond and Gladys Fry.

She was a supporter of Pine Grove Church of God, Newport and enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family on holidays and was the adopted mother of many homeless cats.

She was the widow of Melvin E. Baker, to whom she was married 45 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Darlene G. Barrick of Duncannon and Yvonne D. Burch of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Virginia Freeland of Duncannon; three grandchildren, Lorie Legge, Brian Barrick and Douglas Barrick; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Bohr, and a great-grandson, Troy Alexander Legge.

Services were held June 4 in Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, with the Rev. Michael Witmer officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
