Mr. John Louis Alston, son of the late Abraham and Pattie Alston was called from his earthly home to be present with the Lord on October 16, 2007.
In 1945, John was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Henderson. This union was blessed with eleven children.
Those left to cherish his memory and precious moment are his sons, George Alston (Jane), Luke Alston (Lover), Ricky Alston (Sylvia), and Ernest Alston (Tabitha); his daughters, Mary Patterson (Joseph), Erma Alston, Brenda Alston, Votia Alston (Obese), Almeta Alston (Elzie, special friend) and Aronita Alston all of Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held 12pm Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Love and Faith Church. Family hour will be held from 11:30am ~ 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends at: 1502 Pickard St. Greensboro, NC 27401.
