SERVICES FOR MARY BROWN WERE FRIDAY

Mrs. Mary Ann (Knapp) Brown of Kennard passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha on Wednesday, September 24, 1980, after a lengthy illness.

Mary Ann Magill was born December 7, 1929, on a farm near Herman. Upon completion of her school years she was employed in Omaha until the time of her marriage. Mary and Richard A. Knapp were united in marriage on October 20, 1951. To this union two sons, Richard D. and Dennis A. Knapp, were born. Mary and her family moved from Omaha to Kennard in 1964. Her husband Richard A. and son, Richard D. Knapp, precede her in death.

On January 16th of this year, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Brown. Mary is survived by: her husband, Lloyd, and son Dennis, of Kennard; two granddaughters, Tracy and Denise, of Fremont; two step-children, Ronnie Brown and Orpha Keifer; five step-grandchildren; her parents, Floyd and Grace Magill, of Tekamah; two sisters, Mrs. Marion (Eva) McCluskey and Mrs. Raymond (Jean) Crom, both of Tekamah; two brothers, Merlin Magill of Tekamah and Don Magill of Fort Calhoun; also by many other relatives and friends.

Services for Mary Ann were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26th, at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair with interment in the Kennard Cemetery. Rev. John Fritzmeier officiated. Pallbearers were her nephews: Herb Clark, Michael Clark, Norman Barr, Keith Magill, Dan Magill and Randy Magill.
