Mr. Editor - Dear Sir: - Killed on last Friday, Jan. 5, Henry Borg. Mr. Borg started out in the morning to invite his friends to a dinner to be had at his home on Saturday and when he got to John Nelson's and invited him, he started for the next friends when his team ran away throwing him out and smashing the back of his head. The accident happened between 2 and 4 o'clock and he died at 12 that night. Mr. Borg had bought a farm in Oklahoma about three miles from Kingfisher and intended to move there the first of February. Mr. Ola Olson was coming to town and found Mr. Borg and picked him up and took him to John Nelson's where he lay unconscious until he died. His wife was sent for as quickly as possibly but he did not revive enough to speak to her. Dr. Pruner came in a few minutes and did all that could be done. Mr. Borg was in his 39th year and was a native of Sweden. He leaves a wife and five small children to mourn his untimely death. Mr. Borg was one of the most respected men in this community being a kind father and a good neighbor. The funeral was held at the M.E. church in Kennard. Revs. Anderson and Charles officiating and remains were buried in the Kennard cemetery at 1 o'clock Monday.
