Musician. Born in Leicester, England, he was the drummer of the late 1960s British progressive rock group The Nice. The band (which included Keith Emerson) formed in 1967, with Davison replacing original drummer Ian Hague later that year. They recorded the popular albums "The Thoughts Of Emerlist Davjack" (1968), "Nice" (1969), "Five Bridges" (1970) and "Elegy" (1970), and several compilations of live material. Following their 1970 breakup, Emerson formed Emerson, Lake and Palmer while Davison later joined the band Gong. In 2002, The Nice briefly reunited for a concert tour of England.
