Chris was born October 8, 1956, the son of Carl Lyle and Darlene Alice (Swingholm) Bohs. He was raised in Blair and attended and graduated from Blair High School.
Chris had a long career as a union mason and was a proud member of Bricklayers Union #1. Chris was an outdoors enthusiast, especially spending time fishing and foraging for mushrooms. He was proud of his Danish heritage and was an avid amateur historian of Danish culture, collecting various text and memorabilia.
Left to cherish his memory are his sister Lizabeth Ruth Olney, niece and family; April Sue (Cody James) Beatty, and great nephew Cuyler James Beatty, along with many cousins, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl Lyle Bohs and mother Darlene Alice Gardner.
