Epifania M. Barreras passed away in her home Monday, at the age of 86.
She was born October 16, 1917. She was a life long resident of Albuquerque.
She is preceded in death by her parents Federico Martinez and Sarita Lopez, her husband Pablo Barreras, a son Norbert Barreras, two sisters and three brothers.
Epifania will be greatly missed by her daughters Bennie Barreras, Mary Mejillas and husband Dan, Natalie Stanley and husband Carl, Lisa Garcia and husband Ramon, Gloria Gonzalez and husband Herman, Emily Barreras and Acasio Padilla, Her sons Bill and wife Jeanette, David and wife Judy, 30 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Angelo Davis, Martin Garcia, Jacob Gonzalez, Carl Stanley Jr, Anthony Barreras, Daniel Lee Mejillas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Norbert Barreras Jr, Josh Barreras, Herman Gonzalez Jr, Charlie Davis, and Tim Mejillas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Rosary will be prayed Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. Service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church.
