According to her Missouri Death Certificate She was born in 1921 not 1922, They listed her age as 16 years 2 months 3 days old, so stone may of been placed by family later and year was in error, or her sister Redith gave wrong date when she filled out the information in Mountain Grove.

She per family, she had a miscarriage, so may not of been in 1st trimester. She died from puerperal infection (better known as childbed fever). It is a bad bacterial infection that starts in the womb, following childbirth, from things not being clean. Today women are saved with antibiotics.

Really sad for one so young.
