OBITUARY FOR ETHEL WISEMAN
A death that has touched and distresed everyone is that of Mrs. Ethel Moore Wiseman, wife of Mr. Ed Wiseman, who passed away Sunday evening at the A. D. Price Memorial Hospital. She had undergone a successful operation on Thursday and there seemed bright hopes for her recovery, but in the late afternoon of Sunday her heart failed and the devoted family were summond to her bedside, and surrounded by her loved ones she fell asleep. Mrs. Wiseman was a splendid young matron with much to look forward to in life. Her heart was bound up in her home, and all her energies and thoughts were given to the comfort and pleasure of those around her. She was genereous and charitable and always glad to embrace and opprtunity to do a kindness or a thoughtful act, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the Baptist Church, and also of the Mother's Department of the Women's Club. For some years her health as not been satisfactory, but her energy and helpfulness to others never flagged. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved ones, who hold the golden memory of her lovely Christian life. The funeral was held at the residence on Tuesday afternoon at 4:30, the services being conducted by Rev. T.H. Athey , her Pastor. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful and bore the silent sympathy of a wide circle of friends. She was laid to rest in Springhill Cemetery. Besides her devoted husband she is survived by a lovely little daughter, Miss edmond Juliet Wiseman, her Mother, Mrs. Leah Ella Moore, and two brothers, Mr. Dan Moore, of Atlanta, Ga. and Mr. William Moore, of Dayton, Ohio, both of whom were here to attend the funeral, Mrs. William Moore accompanying her husband.
