William Rolls, 84 years old, former Lonejack farmer, died today at the home of a son, Guy Rolls, Lee's Summit, Mo. He leaves two other sons, Clarence Rolls, Thrall, Kan.; and Elmer Rolls, Levasy, Mo. and four daughters, Mrs. Mark Shore, Lonejack: Mrs. Vivian Tapscott, 3318 East fourteenth street, Mrs. Willeta Hayes, Pleasant Hill, Mo. and Mrs. Viola Simms 3737 South Benton boulevard.

William was born to Augustin and Mary (Stottlemyer) Rolls. He married Alpha Peyton in Jackson County, Missouri on 15 March 1885, but she died a few years later. Second he married Elizabeth Frances Smith in Lone Jack, Missouri on 25 March 1889. They had eight children:
