Sarah E. Wilson was born at Portsmouth, Ohio, in 1850, and died at the age of 96 years of age at the home of her sister, Mrs. T.J. Nash and her nephew Earn Nash of Day, Missouri. she left three sisters to mourn her loss; Mrs. T. J. Nash of Day, Missouri; Mrs. Susan Long of Branson; Mrs. Molly Long of Springfield, and a host of relatives and friends. Present at the house of the deceased of those of the near relatives were:
David Nash, Springfield, Louise Goodall, Marionville, Missouri; Betty Cummings, Day, Missouri; Ern Nash, Day, Missouri; Charles and Bonnie Nash, Shawnee, Kansas; Pansy and N.F. Blansit, Walnut Shade, Missouri; Sam and Jessie Nash, Hollister, Missouri; Dave, and Naomi Call, Rockaway Beach, Missouri; Barton and Bert Warren and family, Aaurora, Missouri; Mabel and Bill Wilson, Hollister, Missouri John and Daisy Wilson and family, Branson, Missouri.
Burial was made at the Cupp graveyared south of Day, Missouri, January 22, 1946. Being a very bad and unpleasant day, stilll there was a large crowd gathered to pay their sincere respects and to mourn the loss of the departed sister.
At the request of the relatives, the Rev. J.C. Palmer performed the last rites by reading first Cor. 15th chapter, by exhortation and prayer. A gospel song was sung, "There's a Land That's Fairer Than Day."
