Donald Gale Flint passed away peacefully at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT on April 15, 2008 after battling Heart Disease and other related ailments for 27 years.

Born in Salt Lake City, UT May 17, 1931, to William Raymond and Hazel Lambourne Flint.

Retired from Carver Sheet Metal (Local 312) for Medical reasons after 35 years as a skilled journeyman in the Sheet Metal Trade.

He loved fishing, hunting, and family vacations. He enjoyed Jazz games, grandkids, and camping trips.

Survived by his "Sweetheart" and dedicated wife of 48 years Barbara (Bobbie), Children: Terry, Michelle Johansen (Troy), Scott (Tammy), Jana Beynon (Nathan) and 13 beautiful and caring grandchildren. Sisters: Beth Coburn, LaVerne German (John). Preceded in death by parents (William and Hazel), sisters Fae Flint and Frances Fisher, brothers William Raymond Jr., Jack L, and Edward Wilson.

Special Thanks to Dr. J. Lee Burke, the Utah Heart Clinic and their staff, Dr. Donald Doty, Dr. George E. Thomsen, Dr. Dean Mayer, and Dr. Josephine D. Abraham for their professional knowledge, dedicated service and special friendship. Also for the duct tape, bailing wire, and superglue that kept him going and going.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 18th 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, where Friends may call Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to Services.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
