John H. Beckos
Funeral services for John H. Beckos of Bainville will be held from the First Lutheran Church there at 2 p.m., April 14, with Rev. Allen C. Erickson officiating. Interment will be in Bainville cemetery.
Mr. Beckos died on Monday, April 11, at the Roosevelt Memorial hospital in Culbertson.
He was born on Nov. 8, 1867, at Fergus Falls, Minn. On June 20, 1898, he was united in marriage at Fergus Falls to Mary Torgerson.
In 1915 the family moved to Montana and homesteaded twelve miles north of Bainville. Mrs. Beckos preceded her husband in death in 1926. About 1935 Mr. Beckos moved in to Bainville where he continued to live until his demise.
Survivors include two sons, Roy D. Beckos of Edmons, Wash., and Clifford J. Beckos of Eugene, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Horace Jones and Mrs Blanche Lowery, both of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Ole Beckos of Fergus Falls; and one sister, Jennie Beckos of Minneapolis.
