The funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth May (Nason) Carle, wife of Charles S. Carle, was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wallace R. Record Sr. of 25 Roberts Street, Biddeford. She was born in Biddeford, ME on May 6, 1863, the daughter of John Nason and Isabel (Swan) Nason She was predeceased by her husband three months earlier. She is survived by three daughters; Minnie Alberta (Carle) Record of Biddeford, Mabel (Carle) Bowley of Cape Porpoise, and Gertrude (Carle) Provencal of Saco.' Rev. E. L. Hart of the Jefferson Street Free Baptist Church officiated. There were banks of beautiful flowers. Relatives of the deceased served as pallbearers. Burial was in the family lot in Greenwood cemetery.
