Bruno Waskiewicz, age 82 of Munster, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 26 2004. He was born in Grodna Poland on March 11, 1921. He is survived by his daughter Christina Tilton and Son in law David Tilton of Fripp Island, SC son Lawrence (Carolyn) Waskiewicz of St John IN; five loving grandchildren George, Nicole, Lindsay, James and David. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann.
Friends may call at the Burns - Kish Funeral Home 8415 Calumet Ave Munster , on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with a 7 pm prayer service. Funeral Mass on Friday, January 30 2004 at 10 am. Directly at St Thomas More Church, Munster IN with visitation one half hour before services. Burial St John Cemetery, Hammond
Burno fought in WW II fro the Polish Army. He was a member of Meat Cutters Union. Retired from Howard & Sons Meat Company. Member of St Thomas Church and the Seniors Organization. Bruno enjoyed fishing tending to his garden and to his grandchildren. His laughter and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
