Friday, April 11, St. Patrick Catholic Church 212 Meredith St. Kennett Square, PA. 19348. Calling time 7 to 9 P.M. Thurs. April 10 and 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. day of the service at Kuzo & Grieco F.H. Inc. "Donnino Maieron, 85, of Kennett Square, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester. He was the husband of the late Mary Granozio Maieron, who died in 2000 and with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. Born in Cleulis, Italy, he was the son of the late Felice and the late Maria (Primus) Maieron. He came to the U.S. in New York in 1937 at the age of 14. He was an accomplished stonemason and stone setter, and worked for contractors that built churches and schools in Philadelphia. For 22 years he worked at St. Patrick Catholic Church in various positions in the office, the school and the chapel. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Wert and her husband, George, of Collegeville, and Maria Maieron of Kennett Square; one son, Donald Maieron of Philadelphia; two sisters, Tranquilla Quaglia of Kennett Square and Fede Barone of Wilmington, Del.; two brothers, Felix Maieron and his wife, Iside, of Warminister, and Joseph Maieron and his wife, Vittoria, of Kokomo, Ind.; three grandchildren, William, Gina and Donald; and three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Austin and Donald III. He was predeceased by one sister, Concetta and her husband, Attilio, of Canada; and two brothers-in-law, Menotti Barone and Peter Quaglia of Kennett Square. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith St., Kennett Square, PA 19348. Family and friends may visit with the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 10, and 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. the day of the service at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, 610-444-4116. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church at the above address.
