Funeral services for the late Paul M. Titus who died suddenly in Bay City last week Thursday were held Monday afternoon at Hawley's Funeral Home and Rev. Marshall Rogers, of Fremont, former pastor of the Paw Paw Church of Christ, officiated and Miss Jame Brown sany two numbers.
Casket bearers were William P Wright, Carl Benton, James Price, Paul Spayde, Floyd Fiant, and Glen Munson. Internment was made in the Titus Family lot in Riverside Cemetary, Kalamazoo.
Mr. Titus was born here in Paw Paw February 12, 1897 and spent the early part of his life here, moving later to Kalamazoo with his parents, the late Lincoln and Ida Titus, formerly well known residents of Paw Paw.
He was a surveyor and at the time of his death was employed as a construction engineer with the Miller Davis Company.
He resided on what is known as the harwick farm between Paw Paw and Mattawan which he recently purchased.
He is survived by his wife Frances, two daughters and four sons, Mrs. Gail Price, wife of Lt. Edward Price of Georgia; and Carol Titus at home; Theodore Titus of Lansing; Paul Titus Jr who is in the armed forces at Camp Butner, North Carolina and Richard and Ronald Titus at home. By two grandchildren and two brothers, Attorney Albion Titus and Guy L Titus of Kalamazoo. And many friends here and elsewhere who will exted sympathy to the befit family.
