Charles L. "Chuck" Davis. Age 59 of Arlington, NE, passed away August 10, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his family. A celebration of life will be held Thursday August 17, 2023, at 11:00AM at Reach Church in Blair.

Chuck was born March 16, 1964 in Des Moines, IA, the son of Wilford Davis and Bonnie (Davis) Raines. Chuck grew up in Des Moines attending elementary school and graduating from high school.

After high school he joined the U.S. Army, which he highly respected and enjoyed. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Chuck attended and graduated from Metro Community College of Omaha, receiving his degree in Industrial and Commercial Trades. He was a longtime employee of Dana College and later Shalimar Gardens in Fremont. On September 25, 2005 he was united in marriage to Julie (Burmeister) Porter in Blair.

Chuck is survived by his wife Julie, and their blended family of 7 children: Cameron (Susan) Davis, Amber (Shawn) Moffitt, Brandie Sawyer, Kelly Burmeister, Keri (Shawn) Chamberlin, Keisy (Buster) Fondren and Jacob (Emily) Porter; 19 grandchildren; mother Bonnie Raines; brother Melvin "Doug" (Andrea) Davis, sister Robin (Bill) Howe and brother Nicholas Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father Wilford Davis and brother Tracy Davis.
