Possible American Indian * Choctaw - Mother's side to her grandmother Elizabeth H. Moore. I remember my mother, Jamie, talking about Bertha when I was a child. By what I was told, Bertha was a large woman and when she got mad, her Indian temper came out. Jamie, along with several other family members were living in the same household with Bertha in 1950 according to the census record. So, it would be safe to say that Jamie knew Bertha pretty well.
