Daughter of the late Lawrence Lee Roper and Sarah Jane Cox. She was married to Jabin Gibbs Berry, who preceded her in death in 1964. She was a graduate of the former Engelhard High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. During WWII, she did work with the American Red Cross. She was a member of Engelhard United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Luther Berry in 1990. Her survivors included two daughters, Dorinda Berry Burrus and Dwan Berry Gibbs; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was officiated by The
