---After the birth of her baby on the 18, of January she took a fever that last until she died. Everything possible was done for her, Dr. Gooch of Elmer, Dr. J. P. Foster of Cardy and Dr. Grim of Kirksville came to see her and after four weeks she was moved to the hospital at Kirksville where she died two weeks later.
---Her funeral was held at the Baptist church conducted by Rev. Mack Dawkins, burial in the new addition to the Elmer cemetery.
